getting fit ..

~ dieting so you're not hungry or cranky ..

that diet is not for you if you're hungry and cranky ..
" people think that in order to lose weight you have to starve yourself or deprive yourself of food .. it should not be a DIET ,, but an entire change of lifestyle .. if you have an unhealthy regime ,, why would you want to alter that for only a short period of time ,, lose weight ,, than revert back to old habits and put it all back on again ?? you need to adopt a healthy lifestyle that will not leave you feeling hungry or cranky - quite the contrary ,, really !! it'll leave you feeling energetic and good about yourself !! ~ sticking with an exercise plan ..

set big and small SMART goals ..

SMART stands for :
- S .. specific : be precise with want you want to achieve .. eg : how much weight you want to lose ..
- M .. measurable : how will you measure your achievement ?? the scales help .. clothing size ?? blood pressure ?? a variety of different measures helps keep motivation high ..
- A .. action-planned : what action needs to be taken ?? keep it small and simple ..
- R .. realistic : keep it real .. set small achievable goals ..
- T .. time bound : lock down your goal by committing to a reasonable time frame ..

~ losing weight ..

it is a slow and often "one step forward and two steps back" process ..
